Friday (and Saturday) Sew-In
Friday night was a bit of a “bust” for me. I ran out of fusible batting and only made two straps for my new quilted bag.
Good news, though, I worked at Sugar n’ Spice today and bought a couple of yards of the stuff. Yay!
But did I rush home to finish my purse?
Uh…no…I…uh, well, I’m distracted by the Moda charm packs and jelly roll (scroll down to see) I came home with! Sooooo yummy!
During the two or three lulls (there weren’t many!) in business today, I made my grandson, Braxzon, a little summer weight throw. Simple, simple, simple, but he’ll love the graphic quality and cozy, yet light-weight fabrics.
He has such discriminating tastes for being only 5 months old.

One Year Here

Mmmmm…you picked up some Martinique. Love it! The blues and coral/pinks are so gorgeous.
I’m sure your grandson must be genetically predisposed to beautiful fabrics! ~karen
Ooh, very pretty! I can’t wait to see what you make with those gorgeous colours.
