Fawn in hiding

Mama Jane Doe has been stashing her Spotted Fawn under the porch at my parent’s house. Sooooo cute, eh?!?! This has been going on every day for a while now. I think that the local wildlife know that they are safe here.

My dad took this picture. Nice, eh?

We also have a herd of elk that visit us. We see them most often during hunting season and spring calving time.

If one scheme of happiness fails, human nature turns to another; if the first calculation is wrong, we make a second better.” –Jane Austen

“Worry never robs tomorrow of its sorrow, but only saps today of its strength.” –A. J. Cronin
