Green Riot Kaleidoscope Sampler
My day started out to be a very quiet, quilty birthday. I finished applique and piecing of my Green Riot quilt top. I also spent a lot of time chatting on the phone (gotta love hands-free wireless!) or listening to the Dalai Lama on my iPod Shuffle.
At choir practice this evening I was treated to a birthday song, cupcakes, cookies, wine, cards and a poem. Wow! Beautiful, beautiful people, all of them. You’d be hard pressed to find a luckier birthday girl.

Hi I’ve been quilting since 2000. I’ve done the stack n whack stars and I’m going to attempt a hexegon. Love your quilt. I want to do something different with the hexgon and stars that won’t look traditional…any ideas?
