Advent Procession

That’s me, carrying my Advent quilt in it’s first procession. If you can take the head shot on the right and imagine it on the body, you’ll get a full picture of me. Not too fat, not very thin either, but happy!
We have marched on out of Advent now and are journeying through the Twelve Days of Christmas towards the Epiphany.

“If, as Herod, we fill our lives with things, and again with things; if we consider ourselves so unimportant that we must fill every moment of our lives with action, when will we have time to make the long, slow journey across the desert as did the Magi? Or sit and watch the stars as did the shepherds? Or brood over the coming of the child as did Mary? For each one of us, there is a desert to travel. A star to discover. And a being within ourselves to bring to life.” -Author unknown

  1. I love the way the color of the organ pipes is picked up in the yellow figure in your banner. I hope your church appreciates the magnificence of your work!
