Preparing for the Journey Past Rush Road

The last exit before you hit the city of Chehalis is Rush Road. It’s my last chance to turn around and go back into my rural comfort zone. (It’s also an opportunity to stop by McDonald’s and grab a dipped cone and say hello to the pretty Miss Tisha, my son Mason’s girlfriend – though not during Lent.)

The end of first week of each month is always hectic for me, this week is worse (better?). I have the Dear Jane Group & Block of the Month in Morton, book study group (The Shack), bell and voice choir practice, Holy Eucharist & Lenten Study, Spice Girls Quilts of Valor Corp, Power Vinyasa Yoga (twice), Block of the Month in Centralia, and another book study group (The Great Emergence: How Christianity is Changing and Why).

  1. Hey, crazy lady! Too much! Too much! Lent is about learning to breath, taking a break… (easy for me to say!)
