THE Cutest Quilt Ever: Rover’s X-Blocks Bed Scarf

08Runner_DogsGo ahead, try and tell me this isn’t the cutest thing ever! Cuz it is, it IS the cutest thing ever!

Would you like to make one? Linda at Sugar n’ Spice in Morton has all the fabrics (they’re flannels), but you’d better hurry!

Supply List:

  • 7.5″ X-Blocks ruler.
  • 1/2 yd. light (for stars)
  • 7/8 yd. dark (includes binding)
  • 7/8 yd. focus fabric (includes plenty for the borders)
  • and Patricia Pepe’s book “Once upon a time in X-Blocks land…” (optional, but you’ll love the book, promise!)

To get the pattern you’ll have to take the class. Yup, that’s how I getcha. 😀

“When hope is not pinned wriggling onto a shiny image or expectation, it sometimes floats forth and opens like one of those fluted Japanese blossoms, flimsy and spastic, bright and warm. This almost always seems to happen in community.” -Anne Lamott, “The Impossible Will Take a Little While,” Plan B

  1. Yep, it’s cute alright! No arguments.

  2. I MUST do this project. But no fair about the pattern, I can’t afford to fly in to take the class!
