I.Am.Famous. (Sorta. Okay, not really, but…)

My pic of Buddy the WonderDog leaping in front of my camera early one beautiful morning was featured on the local news Monday morning, the Pet Walk Forecast on Q13 Morning News. It’s my 20 seconds of fame. See?

And then today I had an article published in The Chronicle, our local newspaper. Yup, I actually am getting PAID to write now! (Um, not that often or that much, though. *g* No huge contract with advanced $$, I’m a stringer!)

Click and go see my article! Woo hoo! (Can you tell I’m excited and that all articulate thoughts have been used up for Print Media and Television?) My daughter, Tara, took the pictures and backed me up on the ins and outs of the newspaper biz in today’s world (she works in the newsroom, she KNOWS stuff!).

Something we were withholding made us weak, until we found it was ourselves.

The greatest day in your life and mine is when we take total responsibility for our attitudes. That’s the day we truly grow up.

YESTERDAY’S EXERCISE: Weights (squats, push-ups, rows, step-ups and jackknife) and 2.1 miles.

TODAY’S EXERCISE: 0.5 mile jog (my poor quads are KILLING me from yesterday’s weights!) and 2.0 miles walking.

Kim, this is brave. Holy cow, I hope you feel amazed by you. I always do. The opening article line yokes me. Fabulous.
